Benedita Aires and Orlando Vogler Guiné contribute to the 2026 edition of the 'Securitisation' guide, published by Chambers and Partners as part of its Global Practice Guides series.

The VdA lawyers sign the chapter 'Portugal: Law & Practice', in which they analyse the legal framework governing securitisation in Portugal. The analysis covers the most recent legislative and regulatory developments, including matters related to insolvency, special purpose entities, bankruptcy-remote transaction structures, taxation, accounting and disclosure requirements, credit risk retention, rating agencies, the use of derivatives and synthetic securitisation.
