“Portugal conducts further raids in the financial sector”
Miguel Mendes Pereira, Competition & EU practice partner, is quoted in a Global Competition Review article about the raids in the financial sector conducted by Portugal’s competition authority, within the suspicion of information exchange.
“This is a very grey area and I’m a bit surprised the authority has chosen to follow cases where there is a debate that the exchange of information is an infringement at all”, states the partner.
