Magda Cocco is quoted in Jornal de Negócios in an article on the Digital Business Wallet, where she underlines that “this transformation promises to change the way companies interact with the State and with each other”.  Highlights that it is “an innovative technological solution, in line with European efforts to digitalise business identity”, adding that it “is a decisive step towards administrative simplification”.

At European level, Magda Cocco notes that “from a legal and economic perspective, the European Business Wallets project has a clear objective: to reduce well-known context costs”, while recalling that “to ensure interoperability between the different ‘wallets’, essential investments will be required, representing a challenge”. Nevertheless, she stresses that “Portugal’s pioneering role in this solution reinforces the image of a jurisdiction better prepared to attract and support economic activity”.
