Pedro Cassiano Santos talks about investing in Portugal

To help make foreign investors consider Portugal as a nearshore outsourcing destination is the aim of a conference sponsored by the Portuguese embassy in the United Kingdom. The event will take place in London, at the embassy’s headquarters on the 14th October, and Vieira de Almeida’s partner Pedro Cassiano Santos will be in charge of talking about investment in Portugal.

Portugal offers a skilled workforce, ICT mastery, state of the art infrastructure, a track record of world-class innovation and an attractive location. Established links to Brazil and Africa also offer great potential.

Several experts will be talking on what Portugal has to offer, as well as presenting case studies of multi-national companies who have chosen to develop shared services centres in Portugal.

The breakfast meeting will also be attended, among others, by Portuguese ambassador António Santana Carlos, ex Minister of Finance António Nogueira Leite, and Frederico Moreira Rato, President of the Board of Associação Portugal Outsourcing.
