Iakovina Kindylidi led the workshop 'From Hackathon to Market: Building and Deploying Responsible AI Solutions' at the EUDIS Defence Hackathon, an initiative of the European Commission that brought together more than 15 start-ups to develop solutions in areas such as airspace defence, counter-drone technologies and maritime security.

Her presentation focused on key legal considerations associated with bringing innovative projects to market, with particular emphasis on the early integration of legal aspects into the design and deployment of artificial intelligence solutions.

The EUDIS Defence Hackathon took place from 26 to 28 March at the Beato Innovation District in Lisbon and was organised by Productized, a company specialising in innovation programmes in the defence tech sector, with the VdA support.
