Magda Cocco, Head Partner of the Information, Communication & Technology Practice, will be speaking at the conference ‘Challenges of Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare’, taking place on 26 November at the Pavilhão do Conhecimento in Lisbon.

Organised by the Association for the Promotion and Development of the Information Society (APDSI), the event aims to raise awareness among healthcare professionals of the challenges and opportunities brought by Artificial Intelligence. It also seeks to foster reflection on the use of AI within the broader healthcare ecosystem, showcase practical use cases already implemented in Portugal, and encourage collaboration between healthcare institutions, technology companies and academia.

Magda Cocco will join the panel ‘Current Challenges’, which will also feature Paulo Sousa (Coordinator of the APDSI Health Mission Group), Filipa Mota e Costa (Vice-President of APIFARMA) and Paulo Simões (President of the Southern Regional Council of the Portuguese Medical Association). The session will be moderated by Inês Godinho, from Lusófona University and a member of the National Council of Ethics for the Life Sciences.
