VdA is supporting the second edition of the Portugal Capital Markets Day conference, taking place on 12 November in Lisbon, with the aim of promoting investment in Portuguese listed companies and enhancing the visibility of the national capital market among the international investment community.
Paula Gomes Freire, Managing Partner at VdA, will take part as a speaker in the panel discussion 'Is Portugal doing right about (de) Regulation', alongside Paul Mihailovitch (Managing Director and Head of Southern Europe ECM, J.P. Morgan), Nuno Martins (Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory Services Partner, PwC) and Américo Carola (Head of Millennium Investment Banking, Millennium bcp), in a session moderated by Carlos Robalo Freire (CEO, AON Portugal).
The debate will focus on the importance of structural and regulatory reforms as a driving force for growth and innovation in Europe, analysing how ambitious economic liberalisation measures can be reconciled with sustainable and effective long-term policies.
The conference will be attended by 55 international investors, who over two days will hold 263 interactions with 13 Portuguese companies listed on Euronext Lisbon.
