Joana Bernardo, Managing Associate, and Martim Farinha, Knowledge Lawyer, participated in the Cycle of Webinars on Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence, organised by ELSA (European Law Students' Association) Portugal, which took place from 19 to 21 November.

The Managing Associate presented the webinar “AI Crime and Criminal Procedure: What’s Next, focusing on the challenges that AI raises in the area of crime and criminal proceedings. Martim Farinha, in his turn, presented the session AI and Cybersecurity: A Growing Symbiosis, in which he addressed the relationship between Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity.

Over the course of three days, participants had the opportunity to study a wide range of topics related to AI and Cybersecurity, including ethics, digital justice, cyber and social resilience, AI-related crime and criminal proceedings, among other emerging topics.
