Assunção Cristas participates as a speaker at the event ‘Towards Net Zero: natural-based solutions for CO2 capture’, which takes place on 26 February in the Salão Nobre of the Instituto Superior de Agronomia of the University of Lisbon.
The event, organised by the Instituto Superior de Agronomia (ISA), brings together experts to debate solutions that contribute to the goal ofnet zero emissions, a target set for Portugal by 2045.
To that end, Assunção Cristas will give a presentation on ‘A comprehensive vision of nature-based solutions’.
The commitment to technological neutrality and innovative solutions is seen as essential in this journey towards decarbonisation, as established in the National Energy and Climate Plan (PNEC) 2030. This plan aims, among other things, to reduce greenhouse gases by 55 per cent by 2030, compared to 2001 levels.
Registration for this event is free and open until 24 February.
