Susana Miranda gave an interview to RH Magazine about the Human Resources management policies, challenges and opportunities at VdA.

This interview highlights VdA's underlying values and the role that Human Resources play in promoting professional excellence. In this regard, Susana Miranda highlights "two areas of intervention: identifying and attracting talent, since identifying the best professionals with the right profile for the challenges of today and the future is one of the team's main focuses".

In addition, VdA's Talent Director states that there is a continuous commitment to "developing talent management policies that promote engagement, taking into account the diversity of preferences and motivations of employees and different generations.

"At VdA we focus on listening to our employees, using different approaches," says Susana Miranda.

VdA Academia is also recognised for being an internal training centre in which learning is a continuous commitment, offering training programmes and initiatives "designed to meet the development needs identified by the teams and respond to VdA's collective objectives".

When asked about the underlying challenges in the professional context that can influence the mental health and well-being of workers, Susana Miranda emphasised that "at VdA, we take this issue very seriously, which is why we have been developing the We4Wellness programme for some years now, which adopts an holistic approach, focusing on prevention in four fundamental areas: mental, physical, social and financial".

"This programme was distinguished in 2022 by the Portuguese Psychologists' Association with the Healthy Workplaces award and, that same year, they were awarded an honourable mention in the Best Wellbeing Program category at the Wellbeing Awards, promoted by Workwell and AGIS," he says.
