Vieira de Almeida & Associados (VdA) is Chambers’ Portuguese Law Firm of the year 2011. This award “honours outstanding firms and reflects a law firm’s notable achievements over the past 12 months including outstanding work, impressive strategic growth and excellence in client service,” writes the international legal guide.
Most of the major European firms were present at the awards ceremony which took place on the 5th May, in Amsterdam. "This award arrives at a time of economic recession, in which we have been developing a relentless effort in order to continue to provide the best legal support to our clients. Their demanding ventures are our best encouragement. We will strive to continue to be up to the challenge," said VdA's managing partner, João Vieira de Almeida, who accepted the award.
