The International Who's Who Legal of Capital Markets lawyers refers Paula Gomes Freire and Pedro Cassiano Santos as two of the most acknowledged lawyers in the area in Portugal.

Who's Who Legal is an international guide that lists lawyers considered to be of exceptional expertise in their areas of practice. Its research is based on the major transactions that have taken place throughout the year as well as on clients' and peers' opinions.

Shortly after becoming a partner at VdA, Paula Gomes Freire has joined the list which was already integrated by Pedro Cassiano Santos as one of the most acknowledged practitioners in this area in Portugal. VdA Lawyers are among the 11 Portuguese lawyers listed in the guide. There are only three fully Portuguese firms included in the list. 

VdA's commitment to this area of practice has also been recently strengthened with the integration of José Pedro Fazenda Martins in VdA's team, who will take responsibility for leading the market's equity segment.
