Vieira de Almeida & Associados (VdA) has been awarded the IFLR Portuguese Firm of the Year 2012 prize.

Through this award the International Financial Law Review is acknowledging VdA's performance during 2011, advising some outstanding transactions both at national and international level.

Lately the firm has also been awarded by the NYSE Euronext as the most active firm in capital markets. Both prizes aknowledge VdA's strong presence as legal adviser in the financial sector.

The IFLR classifies and awards the most outstanding business law firms in the world. Their research is put forth by a team of expert journalists covering over 120 jurisdictions worldwide. VdA has been awarded by IFLR in former years, namely in 2009.
