Conceição Gamito (Senior Adviser), Teresa Teixeira Mota (Senior Associate), Rita Simão Luís (Associate) and Nídia Rebelo (Trainee) wrote an article published in the ILO - International Law Office newsletter, entitled “Contribution on single-use plastic or aluminium ready meal packaging”.

The lawyers write about the Ministerial Order 331-E/2021, which regulates the contribution on single-use plastic or aluminium packaging, provided for in article 320 of Law 75-B/2020, which approved the State Budget Law for 2021, under which and with the focus on national environmental policy, created a contribution of 0.30€ per package for producers, importers and purchasers of such packaging.
