Iakovina Kindylidi is attending the WMU-BUGWRIGHT2 Forum at the World Maritime University in Athens, which takes place on February 16th.

The aim of this forum is to discuss the project "Overcoming Regulatory Barriers for Service Robotics in an Ocean Industry Context" (BUGWRIGHT2) funded by the European Union's Horizon2020 (H2020), serving as a starting point to encourage dialogue between national and international experts.

This project aims to close the gap between current and desired functionalities with regard to service robotics used in the survey, inspection and maintenance of ships.

At the WMU-BUGWRIGHT2 Forum, Iakovina Kindylidi will be moderating panel 5 - "Innovation & Regulation: How best to break silos?". In addition to this panel, the programme consists of the following sessions:

  • Panel 2: Confronting GlobalEnvironmental Challenges with Innovation;
