Maria de Lurdes Gonçalves is a speaker at the "SHT-Science to Health to Tech" Conference in a session entitled "Implementation of the NIS 2 Directive and implications, including at a personal level, for members of the Board of Directors and Directors of Hospitals".
The "SHT-Science to Health to Tech" Conference aims to promote debate on the main strategic challenges for the healthcare sector, including cybersecurity, data protection and the applications of artificial intelligence in medical practice. Conference participants will include representatives from health authorities, healthcare providers, laboratories, technology companies, universities and research centres.
The Conference programme consists of different panels including: "Integration of Artificial Intelligence and Immersive Technologies in Medical Practice - Challenges and Opportunities", "Cybersecurity and Data Protection Solutions for Hospitals and other Healthcare Providers", "Sharing Experiences on Cyberattacks on Hospitals and other Healthcare Providers".
The conference will take place on May 7, from 9.30 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the Centro Hospitalar Universitário de Santo António in Porto.
