Conceição Gamito and Teresa Teixeira Mota, Tax Managing Associate and Associate respectively, write an article on "The Arbitrability of Charges" for the second edition of the Tax Arbitration Magazine, an Administrative Arbitration Board's publication.

Combining an extensive experience in tax arbitration matters with a strong knowledge built up through assisting clients in regulatory and municipal charges issues, VdA participates in the Administrative Arbitration Board's publication with an article on the controversial matter of whether charges disputes may be resolved through arbitration. Charges are a form of taxation increasingly used by municipalities, regulatory authorities and other public bodies and they currently constitute a significant encumbrance to taxpayers.

VdA has 3 lawyers in the Administrative Arbitration Board's arbitrators list for tax matters: Tiago Marreiros Moreira (Partner), Conceição Gamito (Managing Associate) and Rita Magalhães (Senior Associate).

From now on the Tax Arbitration magazine will also count on VdA's contribution.
