Are there any transitional measures applicable to lease agreements?

Within the scope of the exceptional and temporary measures of response to the epidemiological situation caused by Covid-19, approved by Law no. 83/IX/2020, a regime of protection for tenants is also established, providing that until the termination of the measures of prevention, containment, mitigation and treatment of the epidemiological infection, as determined by the national public health authority, they are suspended:
a) The effects of resolution of housing and non-housing leases by the landlord
b) The foreclosure of a mortgage on a property that constitutes the foreclosure's own permanent residence

The applicability of this regime retroacts to the date of the declaration of the state of public calamity e.g., March 27th.
