Diogo Bordeira Neves

Diogo Bordeira Neves joined VdA in 2020. He is an Associate in the Banking & Finance area of practice.

He advises, on an ongoing basis, on transactional, regulatory and litigation matters, handling the full scope of banking and finance law matters.

His experience includes transactions involving secured financing structures, including aeronautical financing, as part of his work in VdA’s Aviation Finance team.

Actively involved in debt, equity and hybrid securities capital markets transactions.

He was seconded for a year to a leading Portuguese real estate investment fund manager.

Law degree, University of Lisbon, Faculty of Law.

Advanced Postgraduate Course in Banking Law, Lisbon Centre for Research in Private Law (CIDP), by invitation from the organisation.

Postgraduate Course in Administrative Litigation (Theory and Practice), Lisbon Centre for Research in Public Law (CIDP), by invitation from the organisation.

Admitted per saltum to attend the PhD course in Legal Sciences, specializing in Civil Legal Sciences, at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon.

Guest Lecturer at the University of Lisbon, Faculty of Law.

Researcher at the Lisbon Centre for Research in Private Law (CIDP).

Before joining VdA, Diogo worked as a Trainee at Galp, in its Department of Legal Affairs and Governance, in 2019.

He performed two summer internships at VdA, in the Banking & Finance and Real Estate practices, in 2019 and 2018, respectively.
