Vassili Plesov

Vassili Plesov joined VdA in 2018. He is Consultant at the Banking & Finance area of practice working on securities laws and regulatory banking matters.

During his first internship with VdA (2012), prior to completing his law degree, Vassili worked as a special consultant for economic and accounting matters, inside VdA’s capital markets practice, reviewing prospectus and information memoranda, business plans, forecasts and accounts.

Before joining the firm, worked as a consultant at the Portuguese Ministry of Finance responsible for monitoring budgets, investment plans and financial operations of State-owned enterprises from the point of view of financial sustainability and compatibility with legal provisions (2015-2018) and at the Center for Financial Studies of the Portuguese Banking Association, where he participated in the legislative initiatives related to the banking sector at a European level and in the public consultations promoted by the European Banking Association, European Commission and the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision.
