Rita Aleixo Gregório

Rita Aleixo Gregório joined VdA in 2011. Managing Associate at the Competition & EU practice area, she has been involved in numerous transactions in different sectors, such as banking, distribution and waste management, energy and distribution, advising on restrictive practices, compliance programmes, control of concentrations between undertakings and State aid, before the Portuguese Competition Authority and the European Commission, domestic and European courts.

Post-graduation in Economics for Competition Law, University of London, King’s College London.

Post-graduation in Telecommunications Law, University of Lisbon, Faculty of Law.

Before joining the firm worked as a legal officer at the Portuguese Competition Authority (2009-2011), as an Associate Lawyer at F. Castelo Branco & Associados (2005-2009) and as an Associate Lawyer and Trainee Lawyer with A.M.Moura & Associados (formerly Oliveira, Martins, Moura, Esteves & Associados, 2002-2005).
