Ricardo Seabra Moura

Ricardo Seabra Moura joined VdA in 2004. Managing Associate of the Tax practice, he provides regular tax assistance on the Insurance area and has been involved jointly with lawyers of Banking & Finance department of the firm in several transactions, in Portugal and cross-border, such as the setting up commercial paper programmes, the issuance of equity and classical and innovative debt instruments and in securitization transactions.

He advises on the taxation of classic and on sophisticate funding structures in the context of project finance involving several jurisdictions and investment instruments and also provides regular tax advice to financial institutions, multinational economic groups and others major corporations and also to high net worth individuals. He also actively participates on domestic and international tax planning and on tax litigation matters.

Law Degree, University of Coimbra, Faculty of Law.

Post-graduation in Taxation, Instituto Superior de Gestão in Lisbon.

Before joining the firm worked as tax adviser in the Tax Department of Banco Finantia (Investment Bank).
