Leonor Bettencourt Nunes

Leonor Bettencourt Nunes joined VdA in 2019. She is Associate at the Competition & EU area of practice.

Law degree, University of Lisbon, Faculty of Law.

LLM in European Law, King’s College of London.

Assistant professor of the Economic Law, Economic and Monetary Union and International Economic Law at University of Lisbon Faculty of Law.

Before joining the firm she worked as a Legal Advisor to the Ministry of Economy and the Minister Assistant of Economy of the XXI Constitucional Government.

She also worked as a trainee lawyer and associate at Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva & Associados, from 2013 to 2017.

She was a trainee at the law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (2013), in Brussels, and at the European Commission, DG Competition (2012).
