Helena Silva e Sousa

Helena Silva e Sousa joined VdA in 2010. She is Senior Associate at the Public Law area of practice where she has been actively working in Administrative Law, in particular in public procurement, administrative concessions, public-private partnerships, administrative litigation and public regulation.

She has advised several leading clients, public and private, in the procedural phase and execution of public contracts, as well as in projects supported by public funds.

She has also accompanied several litigation processes, in courts and arbitration courts.

She has participated in several projects in Angola, Cape Verde and São Tomé and Principe, particularly in the preparation of draft legislation and in the area of public procurement.

Before joining the firm she worked at Uría Menéndez - Proença de Carvalho as a trainee-lawyer and as an associate.
