After having won the award for Portuguese Firm of the Year 2012, VdA continues to lead the IFLR 1000 ranking with four out of five of the practice areas analysed by the publication ranked in Tier 1

The IFLR 1000 international guide for 2013 has just been published including the results concerning the five practice areas analysed in Portugal. VdA keeps its leading position as regards last year's ranking with four areas of practice ranked in Tier 1 (Banking & Finance, Restructuring & Insolvency, Project Finance and Mergers & Acquisitions) and one in Tier 2 (Capital Markets).

According to the IFLR, VdA's Capital Markets area of practice, which is ranked in Tier 2, is also referred to as "trusted and commercial" basing their work on a "trust relationship".
