VdA is among Europe's 50 most innovative firms by the FT's Innovative Law Firms ranking alongside only one more Portuguese independent law firm. In what regards continental Europe, VdA's position rises to the top 15, write Jornal de Negócios and Diário Económico newspapers. VdA's positioning in the ranking published by the Financial Times is also mentioned in the international Press, namely the Spanish newspaper Expansion.

VdA is the only Portuguese firm to be recommended for Financial Law and Corporate Law by the report, which mentions some of VdA's pioneering transactions.

This is the second time VdA is included in the FT's ranking. Last year VdA was among the most innovative firms at a continental level and its performance in Litigation & Arbitration was also highlighted.
