Francisca César Machado
Francisca César Machado joined VdA in 2016. She is a Senior Associate in the Banking & Finance practice, where she works on financial law matters, at both the regulatory and transactional levels, notably in structured finance transactions and public and private security offerings.
She has extensive experience in capital markets, including with respect to market abuse related issues, having advised on some of the most complex transactions, and actively collaborates on M&A and corporate restructuring operations.
She also has experience in Fintech matters and regularly advises financial institutions on the provision of services in Portugal and in the context of judicial and administrative proceedings.
Law degree, Católica Porto Law School.
Specialised training course in Fintech, University of Lisbon Faculty of Law.
Currently studying for a Master’s degree in Law and Management, Faculty of Law and Nova School of Business and Economics, Nova University Lisbon.
Admitted to the Portuguese Bar Association.
