VdA keeps its Tier 1 position in Media Law International

VdA is recognized for the fourth time as Tier 1 in the international directory Media Law International. The TMT practice is distinguished by the joint leadership of partners Margarida Couto, Magda Cocco and Fernando Resina da Silva.

Media Law International is an international ranking that analyses objectively media law practices. In a worldwide research, the VdA team has stood out for the consistent positioning over the years. Several VdA lawyers are mentioned, highlighting Fernando Resina da Silva and Catarina Matias Mascarenhas who are quoted in the Portugal editorial:


Talking about market developments, Catarina Matias Mascarenhas, managing associate at Vieira de Almeida & Associados, highlighted the importance of “the role of the internet and new media, especially for digital platforms and the increased use of technology for media.” (...)
