Vieira de Almeida and Core Africa Lawyers – a Cameroonian law firm led by Constant Koum, Esther Massoua and François Lecompte -, have entered into a partnership agreement.
Core Africa Lawyers is one of the most reputed law firms in Cameroon, widely acknowledged for its expertise in OHADA law, notably in the Oil&Gas industry. The firm is also known for actively providing cross-industry advice in the context of projects’ development and financing.
In line with the firm’s growing international reach, Cameroon is the fifth francophone African country to join VdA Legal Partners.
Head of VdA’s francophone practice with over 17 years’ experience in the region, partner Matthieu Le Roux will be overseeing the partnership.
As of today, VdA Legal Partners is present in 13 jurisdictions: Portugal, Angola, Cabo Verde, Cameroon, Chad, Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, Sao Tome and Principe and Timor-Leste.
