New taxation on real estate
Tiago Marreiros Moreira, Tax practice partner, is quoted in Expresso newspaper, within the new taxation proposal on real estate.
The partner questions “If the real estate acquisition is done by loans, which has happened to a lot of middle class families, shouldn’t the taxation reside on the actual funding? Or it is supposed to tax the ‘credit fortunes’ that have already paid the tax on the funding itself?”
