"European Cyber security: what security is what Europe?"

On September 11, the foundation Friedrich Ebert Stiftung promotes workshops and cybersecurity seminar entitled "European Cyber security: what Europe security for what?". Experts were invited to participate in this event and to present their studies on various aspects what unfolds now in cybersecurity in Europe.
Sofia Vasconcelos Casimiro will focus her presentation on "Electronic Surveillance", focusing on electronic surveillance programs developed by the United States and several European countries, covering topics such as cybercrime, protection of privacy and personal data in the digital environment, industrial espionage and essential critical infrastructure, among others.
Friedrich Ebert Stiftung foundation was founded in 1925 as a political legacy of Friedrich Ebert, first democratically elected President in Germany. Currently this foundation organizes initiatives in the form of discussions with representatives of the political system, members of the scientific community and civil society representatives on important issues for the construction of a social Europe and sustainable issues.
