Manuel Gouveia Pereira, managing associate at the Real Estate & Environment, will be the moderator of the debate on the topic "Environmental liabilities and contaminated soil: assessment and challenges", which takes place on April 23, at the 9th National Waste Forum at the Hotel Sana Malhoa in Lisbon.

The panel includes Marina Ferreira, Chairman of the Board of the Lisbon Port Administration, Carlos Matias Ramos, Chairman of the Order of Engineers, Manuel Simões, General Director of CIRVER ECODEAL, and Carlos Costa, Managing Partner of EGIAMB.

The debate will focus on what has been and is being done, the longed for legislative framework, challenges and projects for the resolution of environmental liabilities, and funding opportunities under the Portugal 2020 funding programme.

The National Waste Forum is an initiative of reference within the waste sector, which brings together, on an annual basis, the main players in this sector.
